Gutter Topper’s manufacturing plant is located just east of Cincinnati in Batavia, Ohio. We have a modern plant that is sophisticated with digitally controlled manufacturing equipment that is unparalleled – allowing us to be lean and efficient. Each and every rolling foot of aluminum is carefully and consistently crafted. Gutter Topper inventor Tony Iannelli, the test results were a satisfying confirmation that his years of hard work and research had paid off. “He designed Gutter Topper to outperform all other products,” “We don’t know of anyone else who can make ALL of these claims.” Before inventing Gutter Topper, Iannelli spent more than 25 years in the gutter and gutter cover business. During that time, he saw firsthand that other gutter covers only solved part of the problem. Gutter screens needed regular attention to keep performing properly, while aluminum covers had unsightly brackets or bird nesting problems. Improperly designed vinyl covers clogged easily and buckled under intense summer heat or winter snow loads. Iannelli knew he could create a better solution. “He spent years bending and shaping metal to find a design that would not blow off in heavy wind or collapse under the weight of snow or debris,” recalled Iannelli. Finally, in 1995, Iannelli introduced Gutter Topper with its patented design based on surface tension, a principle of physics where water will flow along the contours of a curved surface. Since then, millions of feet have been installed on homes throughout North America. He was committed to providing customers with reliable gutter cover solutions that address specific problems. There is no “one size fits all” gutter protection product. Tony Iannelli passed away, August 21st, 2021, due to Covid-19. Tony was devoted to the company and his absence will leave a void in the GCI family. We will always remember his unwavering efforts to make the company successful without compromising the integrity of our products. He was a caring father, loving husband, and a good friend, who was always ready with a funny story and a helping hand. Tony entrusted GCI to his son, Mick Iannelli. He will serve GCI and you as faithfully and effectively as his father.
